The main goal is to inspire generosity and community involvement, creating a balance to the consumer-driven frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Where: It's a global event — people and organizations from around the world participate in Giving Tuesday by raising awareness and funds for causes they care about.
How: People can get involved by donating, volunteering, advocating, or even spreading the word on social media to inspire others to give.
