This unique event brings together a diverse group of local volunteers, including — 👮‍♂️ Local law enforcement, 💇‍♀️ Hairstylists, 💄 Makeup artists, 📸 Professional photographers , 🏛️ city and state elected officials, and 🤝 generous local business vendors!

    • What: A day dedicated to giving back, whether it's through financial donations, volunteering time, or contributing resources to a cause or organization. The main goal is to inspire generosity and community involvement, creating a balance to the consumer-driven frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

    • Where: It's a global event — people and organizations from around the world participate in Giving Tuesday by raising awareness and funds for causes they care about.

    • How: People can get involved by donating, volunteering, advocating, or even spreading the word on social media to inspire others to give.

    • If you’re not sure if your company offers matching gifts, you can always contact your HR or Benefits department for more details.

    • Review Employee Giving Policies: Find out if your company has an internal employee portal or giving guide and review information about matching gifts.

    • Confirm Eligibility: Once you know your employer matches gifts — please confirm Navidad En El Barrio is eligible and is registered to receive matches.

    • If Navidad En El Barrio is NOT on list, please send a letter to your HR or Benefits Department using this template — click HERE. Feel free to modify template as needed.

      If participating, reach out to your school by Friday, 10/25, to connect.

      4. Liaison Duties and Responsibilities

    4. Verify Information:
      Confirm your contact details on the 2024 Participating Schools List. Highlighted schools in yellow require liaisons. Notify me of your preferred school support.

    5. Attend Liaison Meeting: Zoom link provided to all via e-mail.
      Join the Zoom meeting on Wednesday October 30th 2024 for Q&A and discussion on NRG seating changes.
